The hotel is literally on the ski runs, which made getting on the lifts a breeze. The rooms feel a bit stuck in the past, but they’re clean enough not to be a deal‑breaker. I did get annoyed with the breakfast layout – it was a hassle to get what I wanted.

The location, staff and food were all top‑notch, and the general facilities—including the sauna and pool—were solid. However, the rooms fell short of a true 4‑star feel: the bed and everything else looked worn, the bathroom grout was black, the towel rack was loose, and the curtain hooks in the bedroom were ripped. I usually ignore such wear and tear, but it was hard not to notice.

Staying right on the piste was fantastic and the staff were really welcoming. On the downside, the walls are thin, so you can hear everything, and the restaurant food was just average.
