“Historical Gem in Amherst”

We stayed at the Amherst Inn during a homecoming weekend and absolutely loved this B&B. It’s within walking distance to downtown Amherst and a very short drive to UMASS campus center. The home is a historical gem, decorated to the period with perfect detail. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and made at your request. Thank you so much for hosting us, Christine and John! We loved everything about this place, no complaints.

The Amherst Inn sits in a picturesque, historic setting just across from the Emily Dickinson Homestead, surrounded by lush greenery. Christine and John greeted everyone warmly and kept up friendly attention throughout the visit, offering superb breakfast daily and answering any questions. Each room is beautifully appointed, creating a calm atmosphere. The inn is within walking distance of great restaurants and convenience spots, and local bus lines connect to other parts of the town and nearby Amherst University and UMASS campuses. A solid choice for anyone visiting.
