The rooms feel like a home, very clean with good sheets and towels, and the breakfast is excellent; we were warned that arrival can be tricky, so you need to know exactly where to enter because some streets are extremely narrow.

Breakfast was good, but after talking to the owner twice before arrival, the card terminal wouldn’t work and we had to pay cash; parking was also inconvenient.

The host is a genuinely kind lady and the place is very quiet, great for walkers but not for us; honestly we were disappointed—Cristina is nice, but the house is old and stale, not what we expected from such high reviews; nothing nearby, restaurants are in another city, the bed was uncomfortable, and breakfast was just bread with oil or jam and coffee or tea, while for the same price we could have stayed at a top hotel in Mérida.

I stayed in a very old house where a woman and her dog lived, and she rented out the upstairs rooms by climbing a narrow staircase with a suitcase. Parking at the entrance was impossible; we couldn't leave our bags without the neighbor repeatedly telling us to move the car. Breakfast consisted of a stale slice of toast with a little jam. The shower required faith and patience because there was no water, and there was no shower gel or shampoo. There were few accommodations nearby, but the quality was awful for the high price we paid. No amenities, no privacy.
