The lobby and courtyard are gorgeous, a real oasis that we love to stay and dine in. The beds and pillows are amazing and the price is good. The historic building makes the rooms and bathrooms tiny, though they’re very clean and elegant. The breakfast feels like a Best Western bar; I wish it matched the quality of their restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is great, and everything is spotless. Nothing to complain about.

The continental breakfast was below average: the scrambled eggs were powered, the waffle was nice, but the sausage tasted stale. More options would help—perhaps boiled eggs, bacon, individual yogurt cups, and a variety of fruit.

The décor, with old photos and framed items, was neat, and I loved the courtyard fountain, though the restaurant lighting felt a bit harsh. The breakfast spread was fabulous and I enjoyed it before leaving the next morning. Navigating my luggage from the car using the cart was a bit tricky because of uneven surfaces to the front of the building; maybe ramps from the parking lot to the rear hotel door could be added in the future.
