“Beautiful house, beautiful room, shame about the host.”
The villa looked gorgeous, had a pool (though we didn’t use it), and the rooms were large and very comfortable. The host was the issue: check‑in went fine, breakfast was promised at 9 am only, and when we returned around 10 pm to tell her we’d be leaving early at 8 am (not that early) she offered no breakfast even though it was included—no croissant! The next morning she emerged from her room in pajamas, clearly annoyed by our early departure. It was a shame, because the house itself was lovely.
