The hotel’s location on the pier is wonderful, especially for trips to the islands. The restaurant’s outdoor and indoor areas are well maintained and inviting, and the breakfast and dining options are highly recommended and conveniently accessible from the hotel. However, the disabled shower had curtains as a divider, which was inconvenient and unhygienic, and the signage to the hotel was unclear because we arrived at night. Aside from the hotel, we encountered a collision with a steam locomotive at the train station in Prien, which unfortunately hit us as we were leaving a supermarket. The area is confusing and dangerous, especially for tourists, and the city should install a traffic light system. Fortunately, we were still able to continue our journey to Merano.

The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was hearty and the restaurant and bar right next to the building were great, with very tasty food. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday, and we really wanted to have lunch or dinner there on those days.

The place sits right by the ferry, which is convenient, and the room was a good size for a couple doing sightseeing, plus the cleanliness was solid and there was plenty of storage space. The breakfast was good, but the bathroom felt a bit cramped and the shower splashed water everywhere; I also wish the checkout time had been more flexible because we almost missed our taxi.

The room was spacious and clean, the toilet flush could use more water, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent; we would definitely recommend it. Best regards, Perktold Matthias and Moni.

“Tolle Lage und altes Zimmer!”

The location is great and the staff are friendly, but the room itself was outdated and clearly needs a renovation; we learned on site that the hotel will be demolished after the end of October 2026, so no renovations are being done, and there was no information about this on the booking site.
