“Een schoon en comfortabel appartement op een rustige landelijke locatie”
The surroundings were lovely, the place quiet and the beds excellent, but I only missed a bread knife. Everything else was fine.

We enjoyed a few wonderful days at a peaceful spot overlooking ponies and alpacas, and sometimes even a squirrel; the host was friendly, curious and relaxed, making us feel welcomed and at home.

We felt very comfortable, the area is beautiful with many sights, Amsterdam isn’t far, the accommodation was very comfortable and clean, GPS easily guides you there, the hosts are kind people, and we liked the pastry and fresh homemade eggs they offered us.

The rural setting in the middle of the Twentse countryside offered a wide view of the garden with animals (horse, pony, alpaca, chickens) that you hardly notice, and squirrels often peek by; a deer was spotted over the adjacent field. It’s clean, comfortable, and the host family is welcoming. The location is great with plenty of biking and walking options in the varied landscape of meadows, woods, and many nearby castles. Markelo is a few kilometres away with restaurants and a supermarket. We had four wonderful days, and nothing was lacking.
