“Agradable”
Yes. The room felt hot because it lacked a fan.

Posada de la Misión, a boutique hotel‑museum in Taxco, blends colonial charm with modern comfort. Located five minutes from downtown and 11 miles from Grutas de Cacahuamilpa, it offers an outdoor pool, a Mexican restaurant, and rooms with tiled floors, free Wi‑Fi, and terraces overlooking the city or pool.

The staff were super friendly, but that didn't make up for the room's shortcomings; it feels like guests who book through booking get the worst rooms as a trade‑off for the discounted price. The bed’s mattress was awful, the walls were damp, and the door was misaligned with light and air coming in.

The pool is big, the Juan O’Gorman mural is spectacular (this year it turns 70), and the view of all of Taxco is majestic. The staff are very courteous and the location is great since you don’t have to deal with downtown traffic, plus there’s plenty of free parking. The rooms suffer from dampness, salt, a stale smell, a 20‑inch TV with only six local channels, and they ask for a 200‑peso deposit just to get the remote—odd. The balcony door isn’t safe; it feels like you could slip in from any adjacent room. There was no gas, so no hot water the next morning—maintenance is clearly lacking. The breakfast buffet is basic and not very tasty.

It’s a huge, beautiful place to wander around. Some parts of the maintenance seem a bit neglected.
