Authentic house with good size rooms and great views to the Douro Valley Arthur a staff member offered to take us back to the train station on his day off which we accepted and was very grateful. A bit isolated had not realised this No food available for evening meal ,staff member offered to take us down the valley but we didn’t go the staff member offered a meal the following night but we had nothing prepared for us I asked if we could have a takeaway breakfast the following morning and was told we could not though we did not leave until 7.30 am

The view of the Douro River, the friendliness of the owners, and the good breakfast. Our room had a separate bathroom that was only for our apartment, but we still had to exit our apartment and enter the bathroom from the common corridor.
