The food was outstanding: the breakfast buffet was very good, and the restaurant deserves praise – the pizzas were great and the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had! The location and cleanliness were also good: the place is ideal for reaching the main sights nearby, and both rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work properly: on all three days it barely functioned, and when it did, it was extremely slow. Since we also had almost no mobile reception in the area, this was very frustrating. The mattresses in room 16 were sagging, causing back pain, and there were no blackout curtains. The filling of the down comforters had shifted completely, so after shaking them they clumped on one end. Noise early in the morning was a problem: the soundproofing against the busy street was weak, and from 06:30 am guests were loud on the hallway. What disappointed us most was that staff started vacuuming rooms and corridors before 07:30 am – far too early for a vacation hotel.

The staff, including the owners, were warm and helpful. The breakfast was included, very varied, complete, and of good quality. The location was great and the area was stunning. Dinner was good and was an extra charge. It was nice to see the owners attending to guests’ needs. The room was spacious with a nice view; we stayed in N°20. The shower was good. We would definitely come back. We did miss that there were no premium sheets; the bedding had a lining that felt hot.

The room had good space, was well organized and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a variety of breads, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, and juices, all well prepared. We ate at the hotel restaurant and everything was tasty and well served, meeting our expectations. The only suggestion would be to provide two pillow sets per room – we arrived with only one pair, so there was only one pillow per person. Another point is that communication in the restaurant is easier in English, but at the hotel it’s a bit harder because they mainly speak German. My husband had to pull out his basic German memory! I recommend using Google Translate at check‑in.

Great value for money and the place is two minutes from the city centre. The room door couldn’t be closed.
