“Eine besondere Unterkunft in Amsterdam-Oost”
During our bike tour from Hoorn to Amsterdam we stayed one night at the Chassé Residency Hotel, 58 James Wattstraat. The building itself is special, part of the former Christus Koningkerk ensemble, and we liked the blend of historic structure and modern use. Our room with a bathroom was modern, nicely sized, and the beds were very comfortable after a long day on the e‑bike. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was plentiful and had everything needed for a good start. Because we were traveling on e‑bikes, secure bike storage was important; the staff kindly provided a spot in the luggage room, which was a great solution. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable at the Chassé Residency Hotel—a modern yet unusual place that we would gladly recommend for a stay in Amsterdam‑Oost. Unfortunately, the Nespresso machine in the room was broken.
