We arrived at 19:00 and the hotel was CLOSED. No warning! With just a child, I had to find another place to stay. Ten days later, I still got no reply to my emails, nor a refund.

The only good thing was the cleanliness of the room and the property. Naturally, this review concerns the 2026 management; I hope they improve because the place deserves better. Upon arrival, they asked for parking fees (advertised at €15.00 per day), but you’re charged €20.00 per day even if you booked in advance. They also pressure you not to leave your car on the walkways because they say parking is forbidden, which isn’t true—there’s no restriction on the walkway leading to the pool and its private parking. Right after we arrived, they asked for two bottles of water at the reception bar, but they were gone. We expected them to be restocked the next day, but the fridge never had water during our week. The room, though old, was clean, but it doesn’t have a pool view as described; the pool is 40–50 m away, so you have to walk out. The photos and description are misleading. Reception is supposedly 24/24, but during the night no one is there and the building door stays open for entries and exits. The worst part? Breakfast, which should have been included. It was basically a bowl of empty brioche with no other items. There was a jar of Nutella that was empty; when I pointed it out, it was hidden and never replaced. We didn’t leave because we paid in advance. The stay was ruined by the manager’s greed and neglect. I understand it’s “almost end of season,” but if you’re closing, stop taking bookings. You ruined a vacation after a year of sacrifices. You’ll be remembered for this.

I was close to the sea, but the kitchen was really bad and the cleanliness was quite poor; there are many things that need to be reviewed.

“A la Mare”

The pool was great, and there was table tennis and a foosball table; the charming owner was always on site, giving the place an authentically Italian feel. The bus stop and the train station were very close, and a free beach stretch was about 500 m away (Bagno 60). The breakfast came in paper cups, which isn’t very nice, but overall the price‑for‑value ratio was excellent.
