I booked one extra night (my son had booked a week). We arrived at the airport around midnight local time. Since check‑in for the following week wasn’t until 2 pm, I added that one night. A taxi got us to the hotel in about 6 EURO (the metro isn’t running at that hour). Reception had everything ready, check‑in was quick, so we could sleep and start our day in Shenzhen refreshed the next morning.

The breakfast was very nice, the bar area was pleasant, and it was quite peaceful. Unfortunately, the pool area was under renovation and not accessible.
