“Très belle découverte”

The room was superbly equipped and offered a stunning view; the place was quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was homemade—bread, brioche, preserves, and a special mention for the fresh fruit salad. The décor was lovely, and I would recommend it without hesitation. No negatives.

Enjoying breakfast in a vaulted cellar feels like stepping back in time and is truly charming. The kitchen, however, is a bit cramped, lacking space to set or prepare a dish (the drying rack is a little large for the sink).

Traveling under such conditions is exceptional. The large house is very comfortable, the owners are welcoming and provide high‑quality service. The accommodation was spacious and well‑equipped, with everything organized to simplify our stay. I won’t forget the generous, tasty breakfast. The only drawback is that the bed, while comfortable, is a bit soft; in our own home we have a futon!

Great location! The house is gorgeous, tastefully decorated, and breakfast is excellent, especially the brioche and homemade preserves. It was exactly what I needed after a rainy bike day. I especially remember the hospitality of Frédéric and his wife, both truly lovely and caring. On Sunday evening, while they weren’t running a guesthouse, Frédéric offered to take me and a Dutch couple to a restaurant in the nearby village, then picked us up after dinner. The next morning, when I had fallen ill overnight and was too weak to bike, he spontaneously offered to bring me and my bike to Barcelonnette—a huge help. The house is superb, the hosts attentive and accommodating, and the welcome truly warm. I recommend it without hesitation.
