The breakfast was fine, and it was a pleasant surprise when the host, in the middle of a drizzle, brought a breakfast tray to the apartment with fresh baguette and croissants, though one of the jam jars had mold. The espresso machine uses capsules, and there was fresh juice and milk available. The overall upkeep of the property needs improvement; it looks like a renovation project, with piles of trash outside the building and an overgrown garden that should be cleaned up. In the apartment, the dishwasher was full of unwashed dishes, and the fridge freezer held old, unwrapped food. The bed was comfortable but the narrow double bed was tucked into a corner, and we didn’t like the shared blanket. There were also no light bulbs in all the lamps.
