“Comfortable & friendly place to stay in Mindo”

I’ve stayed here before; they’ve added several new rooms that are modern and clean, offering great value and a great location near the river and a short walk into town’s center, with staff who are always friendly and helpful—bonus: the arepa restaurant next door serves the best meal in town!

“Nice stay”

The people were really nice, the place was quiet, the rooms were comfortable and the bathroom looked good. It was a good value for what you get in Mindo, and it’s a 15‑minute walk from town. Free drinking water was a nice touch. The only issue was a sensor light that kept turning off and waking us up, but when I asked, the staff member pointed out where the switch was, so it was fine! No other problems.

“No hard feelings but I wouldn't stay again”

The room was within walking distance of restaurants and some activities, and the location offered tours— the ATV tour was good. The bathroom was fairly clean. However, the sheets didn’t smell clean and were full of hair from a previous guest. The replacement sheets were no better, also with hair. An old man in the activities room was very obnoxious, asking why I was standing on the premises I was paying to stay on— I was heading out for food. If you’re a person of colour traveling in Ecuador, you’ll understand more than most (iykyk).
