The location was good and the host was friendly, but we arrived just after 15:00 and were told by the host that inspectors were still busy, so we had to wait about two hours for a call back. After three hours I called again, and eventually we checked in around 19:00. The gate entrance had no bell to announce arrival. Although the yard and entrance hall/dining room looked reasonably clean, everything else was dirty—walls, ceilings, bathrooms, bedrooms, bathroom carpets, window seals, wardrobes. The pool water was opaque. TV remote batteries were flat throughout our stay. Broken ceiling lights were non‑functional, ceiling fans were wobbly and noisy, and local pull switches didn’t work. On the last morning of our departure there was no water, and the guesthouse had no emergency water storage. Overall, the building fabric was tired and needed major maintenance.

The host greeted us warmly and was very friendly 😊 she even arranged transportation for me and the other guests. Nothing else to mention.

I received my own breakfast and their coffee was nice. The place was pleasantly quiet with no disturbing noise. Sis Jabu was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help; her customer service was excellent. My room was spacious, neat, and tidy, and the bathroom was also clean. Free Wi‑fi was available, and cheap shuttle service was offered if needed. The only issue was that I couldn't find the 24‑hour news channel and didn't ask about it; if I had, I might have gotten help, but with free Wi‑fi I could search current affairs online.
