The ocean view and nearby art museums exceeded my expectations, making this a great spot for a day‑trip stay. It was a good value. However, the staff were expressionless, the restaurant inside the museum was disappointing, the room design was nice but lacked convenience, the mattress was hard, and the surrounding area was too dark at night.

The room featured a huge bed and an even larger bathtub with a sea view. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing else to add.

The modern installations and sculptures in the Hallsta Art World, combined with the view of the East Sea, create an exotic atmosphere that makes it worth a domestic trip at least once. The hotel itself matches other reviewers’ accounts. Some aspects of the bed were uncomfortable, so I booked for one night to see if it would be tolerable, but compared to similarly priced hotels I wouldn’t choose it. The TV was too small, and the bathroom mirror was tiny; a side mirror would be helpful. The lighting in the bathroom was also dim and inconvenient.

The interior is great—unique, artistic, and beyond expectations, so I definitely want to return. The round bed was unusual, and the bathtub was huge, almost like a family tub, which I loved. The downside is that outside food is not allowed, and besides the restaurant, there’s no convenience store or other eateries nearby, which felt restrictive given the limited local infrastructure.

I didn’t notice many positives. I had booked for three people but the room was only set up for two, with just a towel for water. The soundproofing was poor, so conversations from the next room seeped in easily. I imagined a great ocean view, but the view was quite cramped and disappointing. Also, the electric car charger was broken, which was a big let‑down.
