The hotel was very close to us. We had a 4‑person family room with a separate exit to the courtyard. Everything worked properly—air‑conditioners, TV, Wi‑Fi—all ran without interruption. The room was clean. The breakfasts were beyond praise, catering to all tastes. The location was good; we found it very quickly, and it was a 20‑minute walk to Gur Emir. The staff were very polite and friendly. Thank you for the present. We will be in Samarkand again and will definitely return.

“A hidden jewel in Samarkand”

The location is excellent just meters from a lively street with restaurants where you can experience the local vibe. As the weather was too hot, we took taxis to reach the Registan square (less than 10 minutes, an easy walk under other weather conditions!). We also visited several Museums. All taxis were arranged from the hotel and costed less than US$5 a trip). The hotel also offers a nice front patio with a fountain where you can relax and have a drink after a busy day. This hotel also offers a very friendly team at the front desk. In fact, they proved to be for us when we needed the most! Unfortunately, I got sick during my stay (nothing related to the hotel) and the person at the front desk offered to accompany my husband to buy some medicines at the Pharmacy). He also got an emergency doctor in less than 15 minutes. I am very grateful to Munisbek for personally taking care of us and look forward to return to Hotel Ideal in my future trip to Samarkand!. I have nothing to comment on; all aspects of our stay were positive (even when dealing with the health issue)

The property is clean and the young staff are kind and helpful, while the location is decent—close to restaurants, supermarkets and not far from the main attractions—though the bathroom feels a bit small.
