Breakfast was lovely and the hosts treated us kindly. It was a wonderful way to start our days of walking, with a cooked breakfast that offered plenty of options.

The location was ideal, breakfast delightful, and the place was clean and comfortable, giving a family‑like vibe. A few pieces of homemade cinnamon cake were a pleasant surprise one afternoon. The only downside was that towels weren’t replaced during our 3‑night stay.

The Dorcester is a beautiful guest house with everything you could wish for, full of charming touches and useful information. A little homemade cake after a long day on the hills was a lovely touch. The hosts made everything easy, and my room and bathroom were perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with overnight oats available for the early‑morning guest. I’m already booked to stay again next year, and the central location in Keswick is a bonus.
