The staff were kind and courteous. The shower water was either too warm or too lukewarm, making it hard to adjust.

I checked in and out with ease, and the room we stayed in was very nice and clean. The hotel sits close to the Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture, a big bonus for me, and there are some really good cafes and restaurants nearby. It’s far enough from the city center to be very quiet at night, yet close enough that getting to any other attractions is convenient. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The shower pressure was weak, and because the front desk didn't have an air conditioner, it was hot.

Staying here during Obon gave me a surprisingly cheap rate and saved a lot on travel costs—thanks for that! We were two adults and one child, but the futon set and yukata amenities came as a single set. The front desk had already closed (around 18:30), so we had to call the emergency number to have them bring everything, which they did after a few minutes. After my bath, I tried to put on the yukata and discovered there was no obi, so I’d suggest checking that it’s complete before you arrive.

The room was spacious, but after midnight the guests on the floor above were noisy and kept me awake.
