The stay somehow made us feel thirty years younger and brought back fond memories of our student days. The location was very convenient for the appointments that had taken us to this lovely area. Our appointments took up a lot of time, and unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to swim in the lake. What will stay with us most is the encounter with Otto and his family. We’re especially grateful to Maggie for her warmth and generous help, and to Jenny for the friendly welcome. We wish Otto and his people all the best. If a giant schnauzer picks a person once, that bond lasts a lifetime. A practical note: the accommodation is in the basement and has an unusually low ceiling height. My wife is only 1.60 m tall, yet she repeatedly hit her knuckles on the ceiling when raising her arms to put on a T‑shirt. Larger guests might find the room quite cramped.
