Opposite Parc de la Ciutadella in central Barcelona, Ant Hostel Barcelona offers 24‑hour reception, free Wi‑Fi, and air‑conditioned rooms with parquet floors and private baths or showers. Guests enjoy a shared kitchen, luggage storage, and lockers (fee applies). The vibrant Born district’s bars and restaurants surround the hostel; Picasso Museum is a 10‑minute walk, Barceloneta Beach 2 km, and Arc de Triomf Metro Station 500 m away.

The location is great: Parc de la Ciutadella is across the street, Barcelona North bus station and Arc de Triomf are a few minutes away, shops and restaurants are nearby, and if you’re a fan of M&A there are plenty of stores in the area; I didn’t even need my own padlock. The laminate floor is loose, which was a safety concern for me.

The spot is in a convenient area, but the rooms are very small, some share a roof so noise from other guests can bleed through while you’re just talking, and the shared AC can make it a bit warm; the space is tight and the photos are wide‑angle, so moving luggage around is hard even though it’s budget‑friendly.

The hostel is well located and easy to access. Breakfast is available for 5€, and we were given a ticket to enjoy it even though we hadn’t booked it. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the rooms next door, and the rooms themselves are a bit small.

I had a great time at Ant Hostel Barcelona overall. The price is not just good but excellent for what you get. What I liked: the staff are exceptional—super attentive, professional, and always ready to help with anything you need, solving issues quickly and hassle‑free. The location is great, making it easy to get around the city. I stayed in a private 4‑bedroom room and everything was spotlessly clean when I arrived. The beds are comfortable and each has its own socket with a proper holder for devices. On the downside, the nighttime lighting is common to the whole hostel and stays on late; if you prefer to sleep early, bring a sleep mask. In the shower area there’s no shelf or hook for toiletries. Despite these small issues, the overall balance is very favorable thanks to the excellent service and great price. Highly recommended!
