“Great period hotel.”
Loved ambience. Keeping it within old home. Nice relaxing lounge. Great cookies at 3pm. Continental breakfast was substantial. No elevator. Good for steps

“TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!”
Location. Beware!!! My husband and I stayed at the hotel in August. We checked in and had to wait hours before our room was ready. The front desk was rude and non accommodating. Finally our room was ready, they put us in a whole different building next door which I had no idea they even had. When I booked my reservation I was under the assumption they had the one building with the nice rooms I saw online when booking. Well huh we checked in this separate building and the room had a dirty comb on the chair that was at a desk in the room. The room smelled of wet dog, it’s clearly a fog friendly room which my husband and I DID NOT have a dog. The room was so old and just put together terribly. Omg the bathroom was old and needs a whole refresh. The shower hardware is rusted and corroded and completely disgusting. They must clean the old dilapidated furniture with furniture polish and got some on the hardwood floors and made the floor EXTREMELY SLIPPERY! I almost fell a couple of times on the floor that was so slippery. My husband and I never complained, but upon checkout we asked to speak to the manager and the rude front desk staff said they weren’t available. How is there no manager onsite at 11am on a Wednesday 🤔 so my husband asked if the manager has a number that we can call and make aware to the manager of what a poor experience we had. She provided us with a direct line to the manager. For a full week my husband has been trying to reach management and leaving voicemails. 9 days later we have yet to hear back from management. The last message my husband left was we have been trying to reach you for over a week to discuss our experience at your hotel and no one has had the decency to call us back. We’ve been holding off leaving any type of review about our terrible experience at your hotel but now you have left us no choice. My wife will now leave a bad review on every outlet we can about our experience at your hotel
