I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I’ll. When hunting for a hostel, I always check bad reviews first, then the newest ones. This hostel is rated 8.8, but that’s unfair because it was bought by a new owner in 2024 who remodeled it. The 8.8 rating includes old bad reviews from the previous owner. The hostel actually rates around 9.5; the rooms are spacious, clean, each with a balcony overlooking the harbor. It’s a fairly easy 30‑minute walk into the old town, and the bus leaves regularly from in front of the building. Ignore the old reviews and focus on those from the last couple of years.
“Achei um pouco caro para oq é, mas no geral é um bom lugar !”
The hostel is very central and right in front of a bus stop. The downside is that there are no bathrooms in the rooms.
“sve top”
The place was comfortable, private, had good facilities, clean, located well, reasonably priced, and the service was solid. The staff could have been friendlier.
Great location. Staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. Loved the balcony/terrace and the view. Found the facility very clean and the bed comfortable. All needed amenities were close by. The restaurant next door served reasonably priced food.
The hostel is very good. It has curtains for privacy, two sockets, its own light, a spacious locker, and even a mini balcony in each room to hang clothes or just relax. The common area is clean and there's a nice terrace. I also appreciate that they don't discard food and that new guests can find food in good condition left by previous travelers. It's a 25‑minute walk from Dubrovnik's center. Public transport to the center is nearby (bus 1A and 1B). There are about ten cafés, a supermarket, and three fast‑food spots right next to the hostel. The main bus stop in Dubrovnik is a 10‑minute walk away, useful if you come from the airport. It is a bit pricey for being 2 km from Dubrovnik's historic core and for a shared‑room hostel, but prices in the city are high and the hostel really has nothing missing.
