The staff were first‑class—friendly and efficient. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The rooms were clean but small; a larger TV and more handy sockets would improve them. I was impressed that bottled water was supplied, unlike many more expensive hotels.

Breakfast was great, the bed was large and comfortable, and the grounds were lovely and well maintained. There was plenty of free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the place was quite clean. I slept well. The on‑site restaurant served traditional dishes made with locally sourced produce. I would recommend The Angel and would definitely stay again. The bathroom could have been cleaner; there was visible black under the toilet rim from the bed’s end.

The place was beautiful, cozy, and welcoming, with staff who were very attentive and caused no trouble. The evening meal was very nice. The bed was super comfy—so comfy that if we hadn’t set the alarm we would have missed breakfast. All food, including breakfast, was piping hot and tasty. I’ll definitely return. Well done, team Angel.

The pub had nice rooms, a bar, and a restaurant. There was no vegetarian main course on the menu; only a vegan option, which I don’t need. It would have been nice to see a breakfast menu instead of just the waiter telling us the options.
