The hostel is very centrally located, with a shared bathroom per floor (three rooms per bathroom). It remains very quiet and everything is very clean. The kitchen even has a coffee machine and coffee. Burg and Hauptmarkt are easily reachable on foot. Televisions are also in the well‑furnished rooms. There is no staff, but that isn’t needed because the keys are in a small safe.

The room is nicely decorated and absolutely worth the price. The shower head holder is broken, otherwise everything is fine.

In the old town centre, I stayed in a single room with courtyard‑facing windows, not overlooking the noisy street. Everything was very comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced! I found no drawbacks.

I liked it so much that I decided to book another day. There are no shortcomings, but many things seem to depend on which side of the building your windows face.

I stayed during a holiday, and for the two nights out of nine I had other neighbours in a three‑room flat. It was very nice to live quietly alone, with only occasional church bells in the background. Because the room window opened onto the courtyard, I could hear a bit of neighbour activity, otherwise it was complete silence. I had previously wanted such a quiet room and I got it – huge thanks :) All necessities were available in the flat, generally clean living. The building entrance and key‑box system were simple and logical, and the key was sent on time. I never saw the landlord, yet everything worked and it was clear that care was taken for the accommodation. Living itself is on the ramp of the historic fortress and I liked that part of the old town much more than the other side of the river. It was much quieter, calmer, more authentic. The other side was noticeably commercial, but the proximity to the central square and other factors on the south bank of the river suit some other person better. I took a taxi from the airport and had no problem even after waking up – I ordered a taxi at +49 911 19410. The shower room needs more towels; the only towel rack beside the faucet is not enough for a large towel or a morning towel. Additional towels or at least one directly next to the shower cabin would be good. The shower curtain also needs fixing; it was broken at the time but I managed. The kitchen could have a cutting board and knife for cutting things. The coffee pot on the 4th floor was a separate effort: they said 3rd floor, but according to the German system it was actually the fourth floor. There is no elevator, but this information was given immediately before booking.
