A wonderful modern hotel with a current design, using natural materials in the décor. Smoking is prohibited on the premises, which is great! Central heating is available, something not common in many northern regions of China. The staff were very friendly, and we used an offline translator on our phones for communication. Nearby, there are restaurants for dinner: one within 5 minutes, another more expensive in a large hotel on the same street. Breakfast was good and you could find something to suit your taste if you prefer non‑Chinese cuisine. The hotel kindly arranged a driver for us to transfer to the mountain ski area, located 25 km away. Thank you so much to all the staff! And thanks for the wonderful gift of a jade bracelet – an unexpected and expensive gift for me! The view from the window was of a substation, not the mountains, which didn’t spoil our stay at all and is more of a recommendation. The pillows weren’t very suitable for us, but that’s very individual. The bathroom area lacked towel hooks, and I would have liked linen robes in the room. The toilet had no door; for a couple, that’s perfectly fine.
