Hotel Windrow Downtown Ellensburg

“Pretty hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. Just cost too much with the upcharge”

The staff were extremely friendly, the room was clean and well appointed, and fresh coffee in the lobby each morning was a nice touch; the location was convenient, within walking distance of restaurants and shops in downtown Ellensburg’s historic district. However, when I changed my reservation dates, the hotel charged an extra $125‑150, pushing the cost of a standard king room over $400 for one night, which I felt was not worth the added expense and wished the hotel had kept the original nightly rate.

I liked the location and how comfortable the rooms were, but it would have been better if breakfast were free. There is no food inside the hotel, so after a long day of work a room service or an on‑site restaurant would have been useful.
