The sunrise was visible right from the room and the sea view was lovely; the downstairs dining matched the photos, but there was nothing else to do. Getting there was hard – the bus wouldn’t take me with luggage, and most taxis only went to Seoul, so we had to ask five taxis. The shower was disappointing: half the buttons were missing, the outlet had no cover, and the silicone was moldy.

Don’t recommend this place; it feels like a scam. The location is far from the airport, and there’s a general anti‑African and anti‑black racism.

The location was great and the sea view from the room was amazing; a large fridge made storing food easy, and the freezer was also there. The room wasn’t small, so I could move around comfortably. The shower pressure was low, the lack of a washlet was a let‑down, and there was no indoor bathrobe; when I asked for a towel, they charged extra, which was a bit surprising.

If we had booked the same room in Seoul, it would have earned four stars. The studio‑style room is a full apartment with an induction stove, microwave, fridge‑freezer, kettle, washing machine, plenty of cabinets and shelves, a chiffonier, mirrors, TV, and a balcony‑terrace with a table and two chairs overlooking the sea. We loved the special atmosphere, and there are many restaurants nearby. The building itself has a 24‑hour shop, café, small restaurant, souvenir shops, and underground parking.
