“가성비 최고 !여수 더호텔 수”
The staff were incredibly friendly, everyone from the front desk to the hallway staff greeted me warmly. I was on the third floor, low but with a view of the romantic street market across the way and the bridge, and from the balcony I could see a green‑ish wall below and, at night around 7‑9 pm, cable cars glittering in the sky and cruise ships on the sea—higher floors would probably have an even better view. The room wasn’t brand new but was tidy, had a clean look, a steamer, microwave, a fairly large fridge, and a small sink, making it easy to heat up a snack. The bed was soft and the pillows were comfortable, and the blankets were clean. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety but offered enough light options, and thanks to a 1+1 promotion it felt like good value. Parking was a breeze, and on the ground floor there was a convenience store, a tiny café, a chicken‑style bar, a Korean restaurant that serves breakfast, and a rooftop with a small outdoor pool. The rooftop also lets you grill or enjoy seafood platters (you have to book in advance) and offers various snacks and drinks; we missed it because our group’s schedule didn’t match, which was a shame, and we also didn’t catch the live music performance. The surrounding area includes the romantic street market, about a 15‑minute walk (though you have to use the bridge walkway, which can be tough on sore legs), a cable car to Dolsan Park about 5 minutes by car, Odongdo Island 7 minutes away, a rail bike about 10 minutes away, a cruise terminal 3‑5 minutes away, and Arts Land 15 minutes away—basically the hub of a Yeosu day‑trip. The hotel offers great value, so I’d book it again if I return to Yeosu. I’m not affiliated with the property; this is my own money, and I wrote a long review because the place is small but works perfectly without any hassle, even though there aren’t many reviews.
