We arrived at a closed dock, it didn’t look open to guests at all, the landing bridge was up so we couldn’t board. We tried to reach the owners, but they said we couldn’t stay because of technical issues. The money was taken and we received no notice. It’s really bad style. Now we’re in Flensburg, looking for new accommodation, and waiting for a refund from Sanssouci Star.

The accommodation was cancelled by the provider due to technical defects. No replacement accommodation was offered. The money has not been refunded after more than 4 weeks.

When I arrived at the hotel, the price of about 175 € for one night seemed very high to me. My disappointment grew when I entered my room or cabin; it looked very dirty and in poor condition. For a place in this price range I expected a much higher standard. I asked the staff for a cancellation and refund of the amount already paid, but they refused, saying the full cancellation cost would be the overnight price. Even after several contacts I received no refund. Overall I was very dissatisfied with both the condition of the accommodation and the handling of my complaint. For a price of roughly 175 € per night I expected a much better standard and a customer‑friendly approach.

The accommodation was permanently closed upon my arrival. Booking listed the hotel as confirmed until the day of arrival. I have not received a credit for the already debited rate from either the landlord or Booking.

Das war eine Übernachtung der besonderen Art. Top Lage. Sehr nette Crew. Super Frühstück. Das einzige "Manco" war die etwas niedrige Toilette
