The setting is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained and surrounded by forest. The room is comfortable with a gas fireplace, perfect for relaxing in a chair. Breakfast is tasty and served in a hall with large round tables and a morning newspaper. The hotel offers a spa with massages and a barber shop. Parking is ample and includes an electric vehicle charging station. The navigation app directed me onto a road from the rear that had no access, forcing me to exit onto the highway and detour around.

Staying on the golf course was a highlight, with a wonderful breakfast featuring real plates and silverware and an attentive attendant. The staff were nice, the place was super clean and extremely quiet, and the historic building and grounds were impressive. The price was exceptional for the quality, and the rooms were nicely decorated.

The room was beautiful, breakfast was wonderful, and both front desk and breakfast staff were excellent. It’s a nice walk to the nearby “falls,” and there’s a Keurig coffee maker in the room. I was really disappointed to learn that the restaurant is permanently closed, except for special events and occasions.

The building was solid and the breakfast was great, but finding the place was a hassle because the GPS keeps getting confused.
