We probably got lucky, rented a room and nobody else stayed, so the whole house felt like ours. The scenery was like a storybook. A slight sewage smell ran through the house, probably from a dry floor drain in the bathroom, but it wasn’t particularly annoying.

The accommodation looked exactly as in the photos, was very clean, and the owner was very helpful. The price was great and no one bothered us. At least with the noise we made, no one complained. A few of us mentioned that the beds weren’t comfortable; that’s subjective and depends on the person. A tip for future guests would be to replace the living‑room chairs, they’re too weak for taller people.

The location is beautiful, the garden is nicely arranged with a view of the Valisoara keys, quiet, and across the road there’s a great restaurant with a garden overlooking the keys. One of the rooms was a bit small and I didn’t know how to start the stove.
