“Amazing staff and room”
The staff were amazing and the room was awesome, and the Wi‑Fi was good too. The only downside was that everything was a 20‑30 minute walk away, which is typical for Rome’s spread‑out layout.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast featured eggs that could be ordered on the spot; the staff were very friendly. The suites are located in a joint‑use building on the second level, but the staff helped move the luggage up and down.

The location, breakfast, and staff were excellent. The lift was a bit old and slow, yet it had a charming feel.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful, extremely quiet, luxurious, and perfectly situated across from Trastevere. The balcony is wonderful for watching Rome go by with a bottle of wine on the last night. Our hostess at the front desk was wonderful and even brought us an included cappuccino. The breakfast is a huge highlight—first‑class, fresh pastries, juices, eggs cooked to order, and additional small bites make for a truly pleasant experience. We give it our highest recommendation and would stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved this hotel because it sat in a great spot near many Trastevere restaurants we wanted to try, and we could walk back from the Vatican and other major Rome sites like the Colosseum, even though those were farther away. I felt very safe in the building, which has a beautiful courtyard with a statue and a large door that is secured each evening. You also need to go up Scala 1 (the stairwell and elevator on the right) to reach the hotel on floor 2, which is also well locked. It feels like a hidden luxury hotel, and we really enjoyed it. The room featured a beautiful balcony, a bathroom, and a separate bedroom versus a TV/seated area with a couch, chairs, and clothes closets. It met our needs and surprised us with how nice it was. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, and everyone who worked there was super nice and helpful. The only thing I recall is that there is a small elevator that can carry my husband, me, two medium suitcases, and a soft‑pack luggage; it’s old school but we were glad to have it for the luggage. Otherwise we always take the stairs as much as possible when we travel.
