The hotel is of good quality and sits in a superb spot, but the on‑call manager refused to honor our Booking reservation when we arrived and forced us to pay the full rate around 4 pm on the July 4 holiday – what a swindler.

The property’s location was convenient when we were in town. The only problem was that this was the second time my reservation was cancelled because I didn’t show up at a certain time.

Finding the hotel was a breeze, the room was cozy and exactly what my family needed for a quick overnight after a nearby event, and the spot was spot‑on for our plans. The only snag was the billing: we’d prepaid, yet the hotel re‑charged our card because they couldn’t process the payment method we’d given, and we had to call several times before the charge was reversed. It was annoying to deal with the hotel and its booking partner instead of having it sorted automatically.

The room and the surrounding area were great, but the front‑desk lady’s personality left a bad taste and I’d had to drive an hour just to get my room.
