“we loved the location, the friendly staff, the lovely room in the old vintage house. recommend!”

The room was very cosy, had air conditioning, and you could make tea and coffee downstairs in the pantry any time of day. The location was excellent; downstairs was a lovely café for breakfast and the next ferry S.Silvestro was about a 2‑minute walk. The only caveat is that this is a very old house, so while it’s charming and well kept, the insulation between rooms is limited, meaning it can get noisy if there are families with small children around.

I liked the location, and the room was surprisingly spacious for Venice. The toiletries came in tiny sachets, and there was only one coffee pod per person per day (extra pods were paid for). If you didn’t finish your pod, they wouldn’t give you a new one the next day; they just topped it up with one.

“Cute place, just off the main tourist areas.”

The place is close to the main tourist spots yet still quiet and relaxed. I enjoyed sipping wine on the balcony. I wasn’t a fan of the prepackaged muffin at breakfast; a small area with fresh coffee or cappuccino would have been nicer.

The host was friendly and helpful, the location was great, and the room was clean and fresh. The only downside was the poor soundproofing from above; sometimes it felt like the upstairs guests were right next to us.

“Amazing place to stay in Venice”

The hotel was clean and cozy. Giovanni was friendly and helpful. It’s outside the main tourist chaos but still very well situated. We stayed in a room with a terrace, which was fantastic. We arrived early from an overnight train and were able to have coffee, store luggage, and even check in a bit early. I would definitely recommend Bianca Cappello to anyone.
