The hotel is just a few minutes from the pier and reasonably priced, but the beach itself is not good because the surrounding area lacks maintenance—muddy roads, mosquitoes especially after heavy rain, dirty towels with yellow stains, no hair dryer, a loose tap, a rusty shower head, and mosquitoes everywhere. Even though they renovated, they focused more on furniture than on the bathrooms.

“Close to airport & Bangrak pier & ideal for an overnight stay”

The place is a good choice if you’re near the airport, Bangrak pier, or just need a night’s rest; the room was tidy and roomy, the AC worked well, the bed was comfy, and the sheets were crisp cotton. The shower was fine, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beachfront view was lovely, with a gorgeous sunset, and walking on the sand in the evening was a treat. I didn’t hit the pool or beach because I was only there for one night, but I could see others enjoying the inflatable water park. I did feel a bit uneasy about the sliding door to my room not closing fully, though it did lock securely.

The room was clean and spacious, but the pool was a real problem – it was tiny and dangerous, and people could easily break legs or get injured.

The staff were very friendly. We booked a night because our flight from Bangkok arrived late and we had the ferry to Ko Tao booked for the next day. At the hotel you can cool off in the water right on the beach, and the next day we got to the pier quickly. Drinks and food with a sea view were excellent. Strong recommendation for a short stopover!
