A rural spot yet close to Marl, steeped in history, with fresh furniture in the room. The landhotel works well for a cheap overnight stay, but if you’re after more, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

A quiet setting, plenty of parking, friendly staff, and a charming old building. Everything is clean, though it does have a slightly musty smell.

A very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. The building, however, is very noisy.

The room felt more like a vacation rental. Our room was very worn out, the faux‑leather sofa had peeled. It really needed renovation. It was quite warm because there was no air conditioning.

Nothing! The building is shabby, the furniture is broken and ugly, no service for the price you pay—just a disappointment. The exterior lighting is ugly. Even the breakfast staff left a lot to be desired. All in all: never again! Please warn future guests. So much money for rubbish!
