From the reception to check‑out everything was very nice. The hotel is just opposite the beach, so the location is enjoyable. The staff were very cooperative and ready to help at any moment. It was a pleasure to stay and I’ll consider visiting again. Nothing to dislike.

No bad smells, the rooms were decently clean, and the bedsheets and towels felt new and fresh. The location is good, right near the beach with open views, and the staff were super helpful, eager to make your stay the best they could. They even set up a birthday bed spread for us. It’s one of the cheaper options and offers good value for money considering the beachfront location. The place is clean enough for those who will spend most of their time at the beach or eating out. However, some furniture, like the outdoor seating, is old, and the shower/bidet electrocuted us. They tried to fix it but moved us to a different room while repairs took longer. A wiring issue was also apparent in our other room next door; no electrocution but some outlets didn’t work. Breakfast was extremely bare‑bones. The TV is in a weird spot above the door, with a neck‑breaking angle, and doesn’t work (YouTube didn’t open, no other apps or media could be found). It seems they are still renovating and more work is needed. The rooms feel very dark, and the lights are quite dim.

The room itself was nice and the staff were friendly. This was my least favourite island out of the four I visited. There is only one beach, and only certain hotel guests are allowed to use the sun loungers and umbrellas. Guests staying at Beach Stone cannot (because they didn’t contribute to the loungers), so you have to lie on the sand. The island is very small. I would suggest either Dhigurah or Thulusdhoo instead of Gulhi.

I booked a Seaview room with a balcony and the view was fantastic. The staff were wonderful, and the hotel sits very close to Bikini Beach. The only downside was that breakfast isn’t served on the property; you have to go to a restaurant 5 minutes away from the beachfront.
