The parking was too limited, so a late guest with a Renault Clio bearing a French licence plate blocked our car, forcing me to wait 2,5 hours until cars on both sides had left and I could finally get out. The front desk tried to trace the culprit but couldn’t identify the foreign guest because the booking system didn’t allow them to look back to the previous night. If the system doesn’t allow that, you can never solve such problems, and I find that a shortcoming!

The room was beautiful and well‑kept, yet the reception and seating in the restaurant were not satisfactory. The English service was inadequate, especially since we are Dutch speakers and also from the Netherlands. The restaurant’s infrastructure was subpar. I understand the renovation work, but the overall look could have been much better—curtains hanging crookedly on the windows, dirty tables, spider webs between the flowers… it all gave a very untidy impression. On the bright side, breakfast was fine.
