“Great place, let down by a poor mattress.”

The accommodation was impeccably clean—kitchen, room, and toilets all spotless, and the linen was top‑quality. The attached pub served great pizza, had friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere, and the location itself is beautiful. We were given coffee, milk, bread, and a few other items for guests. We stayed in room 8, and the mattress was terrible: springs poked through, it sagged in the middle, and it felt nothing like a 300 € Ikea mattress; as a 70 kg person, a decent mattress is essential, yet we only managed about 4 hours of sleep. If the owner swapped out the mattress, I’d give it 9 stars. The window needs a blackout blind because the outside security light turns on and off, and the room door isn’t very sound‑proof—some guests were talking late into the night.

The rooms are large, spacious, and family‑friendly; they can be darkened and have a privacy screen. The new bathroom features a rainfall shower, and the modern kitchen offers milk and bread. A pub sits right on the property. The only downside is a church next door.
