Very well located – super close to the main attraction in the old town and many restaurants. Yet in a quiet street, no noise in the evenings. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. Access to a small kitchen was a bonus. Helpful owner. The entrance to the building is a bit uninviting but as soon as you reach the BB it’s fine.

The spot is great for walking to the city center, just a few minutes from shops, restaurants, and more. Parking is available locally, but it depends on the season and arrival times.

The room was spacious and tidy, with a good bathroom and a convenient shower cabin. The location was solid and the check‑in process was easy. There was also a shared kitchen where you could brew tea, coffee, or whip up a light snack. The beds were comfy. Parking was free and right at the building entrance. If you don’t turn on the air‑conditioner, it can get pretty warm, which is understandable for a city centre stay. At night there was a lot of noise, possibly from outside walls or somewhere else; earplugs helped, but without them the sleep was not very peaceful.

Antica Dimora Maravigna is perfect for immersing yourself in Catania. The location is strategic, and Luca was super kind and helpful with advice and suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable, and you could use the common areas.
