The cabins are almost right on the river in a pleasant forest. There’s parking available. The beach is large and clean (theoretically you can’t bring your own drinks, even non‑alcoholic). Kayak trips are organized on site, all that is fine. The main host is friendly, communicative, and responsive (we got answers on Booking quickly). It’s a good spot for a warm weekend, especially for those who eat at the bar. However, the cabins lack basic items like salt and sugar. The towels are listed but it’s not clear they’re hand towels, so you should bring your own. Cleaning is superficial; if you snag the headboard, the hand sticks to dirt. Some light bulbs are twisted. Toilet paper is used sparingly. There’s a table that could be used on a rainy day, but the chairs have no backs (plus there’s a sofa). The shower is for slim people. The way the host treats guests is confusing—he handled the heating, which is a separate issue, with the upstairs being hot and the downstairs cold. He seems to think guests feel cold, but you can add more to the stove while you must open a window, which nobody likes to shower in warmth.

The cottage looks nice, but the owner ruined our stay. The €25 dog fee should have been disclosed before booking, not after. If the owner had communicated politely, I would have paid without issue. Instead he became rude, escalated, and even threatened to make us leave when I asked about the fee. We booked for six people but had to ask for bedding for the sixth, and the owner treated it as unreasonable. The cottage was cold (around 15 °C outside) and we weren’t allowed to use the heating. Google Maps sent us to the wrong spot and there were no clear arrival instructions. Think twice before booking. The accommodation itself is fine, but the owner’s attitude and lack of transparency made this one of the worst hosting experiences we’ve had.

I was okay with the tiny cabin for a one‑night family stay, but it was chilly when we arrived and the windows had no curtains. The staff behaved in an inappropriate way when we checked in, and after a few days we’d rather not stay there again.
