I was only a 10‑minute walk from my family, a 5‑minute walk to the food market and other entertainment spots, and local supermarkets, and the owner communicated well and replied fast; the self‑check‑in with a keycode was easy and the owner was helpful when I asked to switch from room 1 to room 2 for two weeks because a local was noisy some nights in the first week; the room was regularly cleaned, coffee supplies were available, fresh linen and a made‑up bed were provided, and public transport was plentiful; Grab APP was great for taxis and affordable; the aqua‑colored ocean had tepid Gulf temperatures, which was a delight for swimming or floating with almost no waves for a cold‑frog‑like me and a nice way to cool off from temperatures over 30 °C or humidity; the owner was very good at communication and quick to respond, and the room change was accommodating.

It’s a tiny house with three rooms, accessed by very high steps without railings, and directly opposite a noisy school undergoing renovation, so I cancelled the booking.
