“Not really a hotel, more like temporary accommodation”
The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room had decent facilities at first glance for the price. I still felt uneasy, though – the bathroom had a coded lock, a lingering pee smell in the carpet, and the first night was noisy with people in the smoking area. Someone even woke me up at 2 am while drunk climbing the stairs, so I didn’t sleep well and felt unsafe. The second night was quiet until 4 am when the fire alarm rang for about 15 minutes; I had to go downstairs to find the reception area trashed by a couple fighting and shouting, with police involved. I know the area, so it wasn’t shocking, but a 24‑hour hotel should have a security guard. Overall, I’m unsure this place is suitable, especially for solo women. The staff apologized, and it wasn’t really their fault, but better security and fire‑alarm training could prevent this in the future.
