I found the place in a decent spot along the river, but when it came to towels, we spent all three nights without a hair dryer—at least one per room was expected. The owner lent me his, looking puzzled by my request. The bathroom had a very low sink that flooded completely and stayed flooded all day because of poor slope. There were no supports in the rooms, everything was on the floor. We’re a flexible family, but for the price paid the service was inadequate. I wouldn’t return.

The stay was perfect! The location is great, just a short walk to the night market, and it offers great value. The host was super welcoming, and the highlight had to be the adorable dog and cat receptionists.

“Très chouette endroit”

A very nice base before heading out to the Bolovens loop or Wat Phu. The rooms are comfortable and the meals are excellent, especially the Lao dishes. The managers were super friendly and kindly kept my bag while I was on the loop, even lending me a small backpack. Thank you!

The owner and manager were extremely kind and gave us plenty of useful tips for Champasak and the 4000 Islands. It’s truly great to be able to go there with confidence, and they also have incredibly cute cats and dogs. <3

The location was peaceful, and the mud on the Mekong was unbeatable. The only issue was the height of the staircase steps.
