The place was really quiet and huge – we loved the space and the host was friendly. Only downside was the drive back from town after dark, which felt a bit risky. Overall a nice spot if you don’t mind the night trip.

The accommodation gave us plenty of room and a private area to retreat to, which was great. The only problem was that it was listed as a bungalow when it turned out to be a guest wing attached to the main house, so we didn’t get what we expected.

My husband and I really liked the countryside vibe, the bedroom was spotless and the bathroom brand‑new, plus the host left breakfast items for us – good value and easy to reach Victor Harbor. On the flip side, we could hear the host’s TV from the lounge, and they popped into our room unannounced a couple of times, which felt intrusive.

The unit was very roomy, the bed was incredibly comfortable despite being a bit low, and everything was spotless. Its secluded, quiet setting only a 12‑minute drive from Victor Harbor made for a peaceful retreat, and the simple continental breakfast was fine. We’d definitely book again.

We appreciated the daily meals, especially the fresh eggs from happy chickens, and there were plenty of books to keep us occupied. The sensor‑activated night light added a nice safety touch, and the ample linen made the stay feel cozy – everything just worked together nicely.
