Casa de los Frailes

I had a great stay at this hotel, with friendly staff who were accommodating when we arrived early, allowing us to store our bags while our room was being prepared. The room and bathroom were both excellent, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like a water jug and glass. However, the shower caddy was a bit flimsy and fell apart when we tried to use it, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay.

“Estancia confortable y atención excelente”

Unfortunately, this hotel didn't meet my expectations, as it lacked a convenient station for public transportation. I was looking forward to a hassle-free stay, but this amenity was not available.

“Great value for money”

I loved the location of this hotel - it's close to Santo Domingo but still quiet and peaceful. The building itself has a charming, if slightly cluttered, feel. However, I did find the room to be a bit on the small side compared to other places in the area, and the 24-hour reception wasn't actually staffed around the clock, which made for a bit of a wait at night.

Unfortunately, I encountered a major issue during my stay at this hotel: there was no parking available, which made it difficult for me to access the property. Despite the hotel's other potential advantages, this drawback significantly impacted my experience.

“Comodidad-cercanía”

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its excellent location in the heart of the city and the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff. The hotel's proximity to the center made it easy to explore the area, and I appreciated the warm welcome I received.
