I stayed at a tiny camp just north of Virpazar and Lake Skadar. Only one other camper was there, so it was quiet and peaceful. The listing said there would be a bed in a large, twelve‑person tent, so I expected a hostel‑like crowd, but instead I got a three‑person tent all to myself and no extra charge for linens as the ad claimed. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well maintained, and the owner surprised me with a can of cold beer after a hot day. The only downside was a sudden heavy rain that hit so quickly I couldn’t get back to the garden in time to secure the tent, and a little water leaked in.
